IBM Corporate Service Corps (CSC) is a special program which deploys teams of IBM employees in developing nations to work on local projects for the betterment of the community. The benefits of the program are as follows:

• Communities have their problems solved.

• IBMers receive leadership training and development.

• IBM develops new markets and global leaders. 

We are the 8th team deployed to Kenya and consist of 15 people representing 12 countries (Slovakia, Holland, Singapore, Ireland, Sweden, Brazil, Canada,United States, Finland, India, China and Chile). This blog will document the insights and perspectives of each team member as we work together on a life changing experience.

Overall, since the CSC program launch in 2008, IBM has sent over 2,400 participants on over 200 teams to more than 30 countries around the world. The participants come from over 50 countries and have served communities in Argentina, Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, China, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan , Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Peru, The Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, Senegal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam, UAE and The Ukraine.
